"And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." 1 Peter 5:10 (NIV)
Restoring Life and Hope through the Transforming Work of Christ Jesus
The Restoration HOPE Home
A new statistic, as of December, 2009, given to us by Children & Families First, Homeless Education Project, has identified 15 unaccompanied youth in transition 18 years of age or above that are registered in the Charlotte County Public School system.
Restoration Roads Ministry, Inc. (RRMI) is in the process of preparing to open The Restoration HOPE Home located in Punta Gorda, our second project of this ministry. This home will be a home where young adults 18-24 years of age, who are unaccompanied youth in transition enrolled in the Charlotte County School system or are low or no income unaccompanied youth in transition who need help with housing while continuing their education through attendance of Edison State College.
Our mission is to provide a safe, stable, educational environment for them to live and to offer a program of Christian discipleship training, which teaches the young adult Biblical principles thereby enabling them to function in their family, church, chosen vocation and community. We will provide all that is necessary to accomplish this goal through spiritual and academic instruction, work skills, life management training and emotional support.
